Tonight I went to a workshop on "Point of View" for fiction writers. The
moderator digressed a little and told us that if a writer self-publishes on
Create Space and sells 8,000 books on Create Space, mainstream publishers will
take notice and the writer can expect a call from the publisher.
The moderator also told us that she is impressed with a Marketing company
that she found through the Florida Writer's Association's quarterly magazine.
She said she's so busy she doesn't have time to take their advice, but she
believes the company is very good. The moderator threw out the figures of
between $500 and $1,000 for marketing is money well spent.
The name of the marketing firm is Writerswin
Marketing, Websites, Training and Tools for Emerging
Authors
