Thanks to Linda and Barb - Your marketing committee at work

I’m cleaning out my mailbox, and I found this interesting event coming up, in case you two don’t know about it.  It takes place in Arcadia.  Best, L.

DeSoto Arts and Humanities Council will be hosting the third annual Rio de la Paz Festival on Saturday, February 7, 2015. The festival is held at the DeSoto Campus of South Florida State College in Arcadia, Florida. The “Art of the River” art show will be on display inside the college, as well as artist vendors. SFSC will be celebrating their 50th anniversary, and will be working with us to make the outdoor festival even more attractive to the public. The “Family Fun Day” will have activities for all ages.
We are again offering authors indoor space in classrooms. Each space will include a minimum of two student desks and two chairs. The cost is $20 for DAHC members, or $25 for non-members. SFSC DeSoto Campus is located at 2251 NE Turner Ave, Arcadia FL. Set up is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. day before show or 7-9 a.m. on Saturday. All vehicles must be moved to vendor parking area by 9 a.m. No break-down before 4 p.m. Vendors are welcome to man their booths during the art reception to be held Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. Payment for inside space is to be made to DAHC.
Outdoor space is also available through the SFSC Foundation--spaces are a generous 12 by 12 ft., and the cost is the same. Vendors must supply all set-ups—tent, table, chairs. Payment for outdoor space is to be made to SFSC Foundation.
Please let us know if you intend to participate by replying to this email by December 15 to help us with publicity and planning.
